New Hope Bike Co-op

2012 marks the inagural year for the Steel City Bike Festival. The Festival covers 5 days and was created to promote the benefits that cycling has on our community. Besides being good for you, riding your bike helps the environment (zero emissions!), doesn't cost much (bye-bye gas!), and allows you to see things that you wouldn't normally notice when driving a vehicle. The Steel City Bike Festival will be hosting various events throughout the city such as bike repair clinics, film screening, group rides, bike demos, and more.

Once again New Hope Bike Co-op will be offering evening Basic Bike Repair courses. The 3-Hour course will teach you the basics you need to know to keep your bike in good working condition, and help you become familiar with the kinds of tools used around the bike shop. The basic introductory course will cover:

Basic Bike Repair 1 – BBR1

$55.00 with basic tools and supplies (current members save $5.00) 

$35.00 without basic tools and supplies
